Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between a sectional and roll up door?

A sectional door opens manually or by motor along a track parallel to the ceiling. Roll up doors coil into a drum above the opening. We recommend roll up doors for hangars to avoid taking up interior space.

What types of insulation are common in metal buildings?

Batt insulation is the most economical and common followed by insulated panels. Spray foam is not recommended.

How do I make my steel building look less like a "steel building"?

Insulated panels can come with stucco pre-applied or you can add GenStone faux stone directly to the metal siding.
