  • "The sales process was excellent. Andy was a pleasure to work with and always willing to adjust and adapt the building to accommodate our budget."

    Paul, Clarkville, IN

“The sales process was excellent. Andy ** was our salesperson and he was a pleasure to work with. Andy was always willing to adjust and adapt the building to try to accommodate our budget while clearly communicating the implications of our changes. We have not completed the building design yet so we can’t comment on the full cycle of the construction process, but based on the sales experience we are very pleased so far.”

"We are certainly proud of our General Steel building. 100 years from now our wood frame house will have problems, but our General Steel building won't!"

    Dave, Monument, CO GenSteel

“We are certainly proud of our General Steel building. 100 years from now our wood frame house will have problems, but our General Steel building won’t! We put up the building a couple years ago and still haven’t finished everything around the outside, so in some ways it will look better after next summer. 1 and 1/2″ rock out the first 3 feet from the foundation is only around 1/3 of the building so far and that will go all the way around. The concrete pad I built halfway down the south side will hold two 55 gallon blue barrels to collect rainwater from that side of the roof for the 6 raised garden beds you can see in this picture. The pad will get faced with the same stone veneer I’ve put on the exposed foundation walls all around. PVC pipe is already in from that pad to each of the garden beds. We watered them from a well last summer, but this year the water will come from our GenSteel building’s roof. One inch of rain provides 600 gallons of water off that half of the roof. I guess we really don’t want to publicize that though, as the state’s rules on collecting rainwater are that it can only be done from buildings that are lived in. I don’t collect any rainwater off our house, so morally I have no problem doing this. My neighbors have admired the building and two have put up steel outbuildings since. Now with your referral offer, I’ll put on my salesman hat the next time a neighbor asks me about the steel building!”

  • "Sent a list of questions, several person-to-person calls, and he offered his personal phone in case I had questions after office was closed. This is great customer service."

    Fred, Greenleaf, KS

“I searched for a steel building on the internet and selected GSC. When the original sales rep returned my call but could not answer my questions, I was referred to Mr. Lee **. I sent him a list of questions which we covered individually. We had several person-to-person calls with question and answer periods. I was pleasantly surprised with his ability to answer all my questions without having to go look up the answers. He even offered me his personal phone number in case I had a question when the office was closed. This is great customer service.”

“My experience with the General Steel Corporation was very positive. All the employees I dealt with helped me every step of the way. They explained the process and what to expect — a 5 star group of employees and managers for sure! As for the product, I ordered a 24X30 steel garage kit with insulation kit and it was assembled by a construction company here in Tucson. Bottom line: The garage kit exceeded my expectations in both quality and in looks, it’s solid, it looks sharp and is exactly what I needed and wanted! Thanks to all at General Steel Corporation!”
