A Clear Span Building from Generous Donors
Knowing the program needed a boost, UCF, with the help of donors Tony and Sonja Nicholson, completed the Nicholson Fieldhouse before the 2005 season. The climate-controlled steel building, featuring a 120-yard regulation playing field, gave the program a home. It also gave coaches and players the advantage of practicing during times of inclement weather, when they would otherwise be forced to practice in dangerous heat or cancel practice altogether.
